Il team Kawasaki Puccetti Racing pronto all’ultima battaglia della stagione 2018 in Qatar

l piloti del team Kawasaki Puccetti Racing sono pronti per affrontare l’ultimo round della stagione 2018 del Campionato Mondiale FIM Superbike e Supersport, che si correrà questo fine settimana in notturna sotto i riflettori dello spettacolare circuito di Losail in Qatar.

In Superbike, Toprak Razgatlioglu, dopo aver completato il round argentino con successo, chiudendo al terzo posto Gara 1 e conquistando il suo secondo podio nella stagione di debutto nella top class, e dopo aver terminato in settima posizione Gara 2 a El Villicum grazie ad un’altra grande performance, giunge in Qatar con l’obiettivo di porre il sigillo finale sul suo primo anno nella top class con un altro importante risultato.

Toprak è attualmente ottavo nella classifica generale e secondo nella classifica dedicata ai piloti di team indipendenti e correrà per la prima volta in assoluto questo weekend in Qatar.

Dopo questo fine settimana di gara, Razgatlioglu avrà modo di provare un’altra esperienza unica. Infatti, il ventiduenne volerà in Giappone per prendere parte al Grand Prix conclusivo della stagione 2018 del Campionato MFJ Superbike All Japan Road Race che si correrà a Suzuka dal 2 al 4 novembre 2018.

Toprak parteciperà come wild card del Kawasaki Team Green nella categoria JSB1000 e oltre all’esperienza di gara, approfitterà della sua permanenza per visitare la sede generale della casa costruttrice Kawasaki.

In Supersport invece, Hikari Okubo, al momento 12esimo in classifica generale, ha saputo realizzare il suo miglior risultato nel recente round sul nuovissimo circuito argentino di San Juan Villicum, chiudendo la gara domenicale in ottava posizione.

In vista dell’ultima prova in Qatar, il giapponese si dichiara fiducioso di poter compiere un ulteriore passo in avanti, grazie alle ottime sensazioni avute durante il fine settimana in Argentina in sella alla Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R del team.

Il finale di stagione vedrà anche il compagno di squadra Héctor Barberá alla ricerca della sua migliore prestazione con la moto del team di Reggio Emilia. Dopo aver disputato le ultime tre gare del mondiale Supersport, lo spagnolo è ora pronto a tornare in pista a Losail consapevole di poter contare questa volta sulla sua passata esperienza sul circuito del Qatar.

Sui 5.3 km del tracciato circondato dal deserto e illuminato dai riflettori, Barberá cercherà di dimostrare tutto il suo potenziale.

L’ultima battaglia del 2018 per il team Kawasaki Puccetti Racing e i suoi piloti inizierà ufficialmente giovedì 25 ottobre 2018 con le prime prove libere.

Kawasaki Puccetti Racing ready for the final battle of the 2018 season

Kawasaki Puccetti Racing riders are eager to race under the floodlights of Losail International Circuit, stage this weekend of the final 2018 round of the FIM Superbike and Supersport World Championship.

In WorldSBK, after having completed a successful Argentinian round, as he finished third in Race 1 grabbing his second podium in the top class in his rookie season and after finishing seventh in Race 2 after a strong performance, Toprak Razgatlioglu moves now to Qatar with the aim of closing the year with another important result.

Toprak, who is currently eighth in the general standings and second in the independent team classification, will ride on board the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10RR of the team on the 5.3 km of the floodlit circuit surrounded by the desert for the first time ever this weekend.

After the Qatar Round, Razgatlioglu will make another brand new experience as he will fly then to Japan to take part to the final grand prix of the MFJ Superbike All Japan Road Race Championship at Suzuka from 2nd to 4th November 2018.

The 22-year-old will ride as wild card with the Kawasaki Team Green in the JSB1000category and during his stay in Japan, he will also visit the Kawasaki manufacturer headquarters.

In WorldSSP, Hikari Okubo, who is currently 12th in the general standings, was recently able to make his best 2018 season result so far at the brand new Argentinian Circuit San Juan Villicum finishing 8th on Sunday race.
Ahead of the Qatar Round, he declares to be confident to be able to improve once more as he can now take benefit from the good feeling built with his bike in the recent Argentinian race weekend.

Additionally, during the 2018 season finale, Spanish rider Héctor Barberá will try to set his best performance on board the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R after having already raced in the last three rounds of the year of the FIM Supersport World Championship with the team from Reggio Emilia.

The 2018 season finale for the Kawasaki Puccetti Racing team and its riders will begin on Thursday 25th October with the first free practice sessions.

Sarà la prima volta che correrò in notturna sotto i riflettori del circuito di Losail e onestamente è sempre stato il mio sognopoter gareggiare qui. Dopo il finale di stagione parteciperò anche al Campionato MFJ Superbike All Japan Road Race a Suzuka insieme al Kawasaki Team Green. Sono molto felice di ciò e voglio ringraziare Kawasaki e il team Puccetti Racing per questa grande opportunità. Prima dovrò concentrarmisull’ultimo round WorldSBK della stagione. Conosco entrambi icircuiti grazie ai videogiochi, ma ovviamente correci dal vivosarà un’esperienza completamente diversa! Non vedo l’ora di essere lì e tornare al lavoro con la squadra. Farò del mio meglioper chiudere bene questa mia prima stagione di debutto nellatop class”.

“Dopo il round dell’Argentina ci siamo avvicinato molto ai primi e sono davvero fiducioso che potremo realizzare una prestazione migliore rispetto alle mie prime tre gare col team. Conosco molto bene questo tracciato e mi piace molto. In più credo che le sue caratteristiche siano compatibili con la Kawasaki. Al momento il mio limite è in uscita di curva e il Circuito del Qatar ha delle curve molto più favorevoli alla nostra moto. Durante gli ultimi weekend di gara mi sono preparato a questo round e credo che questa volta saremo in grado di lottare per la top five”.

(English) “After the Argentinean Round I got closer to the front and I am really confident to be able to set up a better performance compared to the first three races with the team. I know this racetrack very well and I like it very much. Also, I think its layout suits the Kawasaki best. My limit now is in exiting the corners, but the circuit in Qatar has corners that are more favorable to our bike. During these past race weekends, I prepared myself for this round and I believe this time we will be able to battle into the top five.”

“Il prossimo round sarà l’ultimo della stagione e il mio obiettivoè quello di riuscire a realizzare il mio miglior risultato dell’annoproprio in Qatar. Penso non ci manchi nulla per poterloottenere. Dopo l’Argentina torno in moto con molta più fiducia. L’ultima gara non è andata male. Sono partito 16esimo e arrivato ottavo al traguardo. Credo che se riusciremo ad ottenere una buona posizione in griglia di partenza, potremoessere lì davanti in lotta per le posizioni che contano”.

(English) “The next round will be the last of the season and my aim is to end this year making my best ever result in Qatar. I think we have all what we need to make this possible. After Argentina I am getting back on the bike with more confidence. Our last race weekend wasn’t that bad. I qualified 16th and still ended the race in 8th position. I believe that if I will be able to get a better grid position, I will be able to battle at the front.”
