Kawasaki Puccetti Racing – A Misano CIV per prepararsi al mondiale
Mancano poco più di 10 giorni alla ripresa dei campionati mondiali Supersport e Superbike che disputeranno il loro secondo round a Jerez de la Frontera in Spagna, dal 31 luglio al 2 agosto.
Il Kawasaki Puccetti Racing lavora da tempo per prepararsi alla ripresa dell’attività agonistica ed è per questo motivo che ha deciso di partecipare al secondo round del CIV Campionato Italiano Velocità che si disputa questo fine settimana al Misano World Circuit a porte chiuse, con l’ingresso in autodromo limitato ai soli team ed agli addetti ai lavori, nel pieno rispetto delle normative atte al contenimento del coronavirus.
Il CIV è uno dei più importanti campionati nazionali, ed il livello delle gare e dei piloti è molto alto. Quale migliore occasione quindi per i piloti di Manuel Puccetti per tornare in pista e per ritrovare il ritmo e l’adrenalina delle gare?
Nella classe Supersport Lucas Mahias e Philipp Oettl gareggeranno fuori classifica anche se con ZX-6R conformi al regolamento del CIV. Nella classe Superbike anche Xavi Fores correrà fuori classifica ed utilizzerà la stessa Ninja ZX-10R che usa nel campionato mondiale. In questa occasione, per celebrare lo sponsor Total che da oltre dieci anni collabora con il Kawasaki Puccetti Racing e che è il main sponsor del CIV, la moto del pilota spagnolo avrà la bellissima e celebrativa livrea ELF, simile a quella usata negli anni 80’ da “Rocket Ron” Haslam nel mondiale MotoGP.
L’obiettivo della squadra è quello di tornare a lavorare insieme e ritrovare gli automatismi delle gare, mentre i tre piloti vogliono togliersi di dosso la ruggine accumulata in questi mesi di sosta forzata, nei quali si sono allenati anche in moto, ma non hanno mai disputato gare.
Le gare della Supersport e della Superbike saranno trasmesse sul canale di Sky Sport MotoGP HD, in diretta streaming su ElevenSports.it e sempre in diretta sul sito civ.tv e sulle pagine Facebook del Campionato italiano velocità e di Motosprint.

Kawasaki Puccetti Racing – At Misano CIV to prepare for the world championship
In a little over ten days’ time, the Supersport and Superbike world championships will resume with round two, taking place at Jerez de la Frontera in Spain from 31 July to 2 August.
Kawasaki Puccetti Racing has been working hard to prepare for its return to racing and this is why it has chosen to participate in round 2 of the Italian CIV championship taking place this weekend at the Misano World Circuit behind closed doors, entry to the circuit restricted to teams and staff members only, in line with regulations to contain the spread of coronavirus.
The Italian CIV series is one of the most important national championships and the level of riders and racing is very high. What better occasion then for Manuel Puccetti’s riders to return to the track and get back into the rhythm and pure adrenaline of racing?
In the Supersport class, Lucas Mahias and Philipp Oettl will compete outside of the classification, despite their ZX-6R machines conforming to the CIV regulation. In the Superbike class, Xavi Forés will also race outside of the classification and will ride the same Ninja ZX-10R he uses in the world championship. To celebrate sponsor Total, which has collaborated with Kawasaki Puccetti Racing for more than ten years and is the CIV main sponsor, the Spanish rider’s bike will feature a special commemorative ELF livery, similar to that used in the MotoGP championship in the 80s by “Rocket Ron” Haslam.
The team’s aim is to get back into the swing of working together and find those race automatisms, while the three riders want to shake off the cobwebs after the enforced break of several months, during which they have also trained with bikes but did not do any racing.
The Supersport and Superbike races will be broadcast on the Sky Sport MotoGP HD channel, in direct streaming on ElevenSports.it and live on the civ.tv website, as well as on the Facebook pages of the Italian CIV Championship and Motosprint.
