Posticipato il secondo round dei campionati mondiali Supersport e Superbike
Pochi giorni dopo il rientro in Italia del Kawasaki Puccetti Racing, FIM e Dorna WSBK Organization hanno comunicato ufficialmente che il secondo round in Qatar del Campionato del Mondo MOTUL FIM Superbike e Supersport sarà posticipato a data da destinarsi.
Questo a causa delle restrizioni sugli ingressi aerei deciso dal governo del Qatar in seguito all’emergenza globale legata alla diffusione del coronavirus, che prevedono una quarantena minima di 14 giorni per tutti coloro che provengono dall’Italia o che sono transitati sul suolo italiano nelle ultime due settimane.
La presenza italiana nel WorldSBK sia in pista che fuori è fondamentale per il corretto svolgimento dei mondiali delle derivate dalla serie ed è per questo motivo che è stato deciso di posticipare il Round Lauretana Water del Qatar a data da destinarsi.
Resta confermato il terzo round, che si disputerà a Jerez de la Frontera in Spagna dal 27 al 29 marzo.

Postponement of the second round of the Supersport and Superbike world championships
Just a few days after Kawasaki Puccetti Racing’s return to Italy, the FIM and Dorna WSBK Organisation have officially announced that the second round of the MOTUL FIM Superbike and Supersport world championships in Qatar is to be postponed, with new dates still to be confirmed.
This is due to air travel restrictions imposed by the Qatari government in light of the global emergency relating to the spread of coronavirus, the ruling imposing a minimum 14-day quarantine period for anyone coming from Italy or who has travelled through Italy in the last two weeks.
The presence of Italians in WorldSBK, both on and off track, is fundamental to the proper execution of the production-derived series and it is for this reason that the decision has been taken to postpone the Lauretana Water Qatari round until later in the year.
The third championship round is set to go ahead, at the Jerez de la Frontera circuit in Spain, over the weekend of 27-29 March.
