RADIUM , un artista con una storia. Componente del DUO MICROPOINT ma anche dj solista, è uno dei maggiori contribuenti per quanto riguarda la creazione della scena Elettronica in Francia. Nel 1992 forma un Duo con Al Core e nascono i leggendari MICROPOINT. Durante l’ultimo decennio del 20° secolo Micropoint hanno fissato gli standard della techno hardcore in Francia, quella che noi oggi conosciamo sotto il nome di “FRENCHCORE”. Il duo ha poi continuato a rilasciare numerosi EP, che riscontrano un grande successo all interno della scena nazionale ed internazionale. Nel 1995 , mentre ancora lavora in DUO con Al Core, RADIUM inizia a produrre numerosi album da solista sotto il nome d’arte che noi tutti conosciamo oggi, appunto Radium.
Nel 1996 egli contribuisce a creare le etichette «Dead End» e «Psychik genocidio», al fine di produrre e promuovere la musica da lui scelta: l’ Hardcore. Per lui l’hardcore è l’unico stile di musica che permette la maggiore sperimentazione di musiche ed interpretazioni.
1998, questa data segna l’uscita del primo LP dei Micropoint «Neurophonie», qualcosa di mai visto prima in Francia. La popolarità di questo stile rivoluzionario comincia a prendere piede velocemente e i Micropoint iniziano ad introdurre la FRENCHCORE in un circuito più ampio. Nello stesso anno, il duo è invitato a presentarsi ad un pubblico di oltre 100.000 persone per una sessione dal vivo presso il Techno Parade in Francia. Nel 2000 esce il secondo LP dei Micropoint
« Anesthesie International » che rappresenta un punto di svolta nel panorama musicale: techno hardcore che inizia a mescolarsi con altri stili musicali simili. Nello stesso anno, Radium lancia il suo primo Mix CD da solista, “inumani” e questa realizzazione lo mette sulla mappa come uno dei migliori DJ Frenchcore. Egli diventa co-manager per l’etichetta Audiogenic, la quale aumenta rapidamente di successo grazie alla sua reputazione per quanto riguarda produzioni di alta qualità.
Nel 2001 Radium pubblica il suo primo LP da solista, “Performance Paranoia”, che riscontra grande successo sia per la qualità della produzione che per l’originalità del suo lavoro.
Molti brani dell’ album sono stati remixati da dj come Tieum, The Speed Freak, Marc Acardipane e Hellfish. Grazie al successo complessivo dei suoi dischi Radium inizia a fare spettacoli dal vivo sia con Micropoint sia solo come DJ Radium. I suoi spettacoli, spesso con un batterista dal vivo o MC, sono richiestissimi in tutta la Francia.
Nel 2003 egli riesce con un secondo album chiamato “inExtremist”, che è all’altezza del suo nome e spinge Frenchcore agli estremi. Il 2006 è segnato dall’uscita del suo terzo LP da solista « Terminal Trauma » dove le tracce si abbassano di una tacca e sono più mid-tempo. “Terminal Trauma” include due DJs supplementari che fanno da voce: Lenny Dee, un mito vivente sulla scena elettronica internazionale, nella traccia « Free Party Animal » e l’intraprendente Daisy nella traccia
“Trust or Die”. A partire da quest’anno, Radium si esibisce dal vivo per alcuni dei più grandi eventi e festival in Francia (Borealis, Astropolis, Electromind, Nordik Impakt ..) e ha fatto apparizioni nel circuito internazionale, in paesi come Inghilterra, Svizzera, Italia, Germania, Repubblica ceca, Belgio, Olanda, Canada e Stati Uniti. Nel 2008, dopo un periodo di separazione, Micrpoint ritornano con il loro attesissimo album «Overdose United». Esso include anche un contributo di Lenny Dee, The Horrorist e Punish Yourself.
Non date retta al messaggio della traccia “HARDCORE NO MORE” , Al core e Radium non hanno ancora finito con noi e continueranno a giocare con le nostre menti e corpi fino finché non ne potremo più… ma ancora non c’è rischio di overdose !!
NEWS, nel 2009 Radium ritorna con il suo nuovo album solista (CD e vinile) « MasterPiss » che è gradito sia ai suoi fan più antichi e fedeli e le sue nuove reclute. Il titolo, «MasterPiss» non è dato a caso. Si tratta di un gioco di parole politicamente scorretto che vuol farci sapere che, nonostante la sempre maggiore concorrenza, il Maestro rimane ancora al volante che guida questa grande nave che noi conosciamo come FRENCHCORE!!!!!!!

RADIUM : An artist with a History ; the second head to MICROPOINT and solo DJ. He is a major contributor to the creation of the Electronic scene in France. 1992 He forms a duo with Al Core and the legendary MICROPOINT is born. During the last decade of the 20th century, Micropoint set the standards for Hardcore Techno in France, what we now know as “Frenchcore”. The duo then continued to release numerous EPs which are met with tremendous success within the scene. 1995 While still working with Al Core for Micropoint, Radium begins to produce numerous solo albums under the stage name we all know today: Radium.1996 He helps create the labels « Dead End » and « Psychik Genocide » in order to produce and promote his music of choice : Hardcore. For him, Hardcore is the only style of music that allows for the most musical experimentation and interpretation.1998 This date marks the release of Micropoint’s first LP « Neurophonie », a never-before-seen in France. The popularity of this revolutionary style begins to catch on quick and Micropoint shoots to fame bringing Frenchcore into a wider circuit. Many tracks have been remixed from this album , most notably by Tieum, The Speed Freak, Marc Acardipane, and Hellfish. The overall success of his records leads Radium to do live shows both with Micropoint and appear solo as DJ Radium. His shows, often with a live drummer or MC, are packed all over France. 2003 He returns with a 2nd album called “inExtremist” which lives up to its name and pushes our definition of Frenchcore to the extremes. He continues more and more with his live solo shows which ravish in the nostalgy of his live performances with Micropoint.2004 The release of the Mix CD “Darkcore 7″ under the Dutch label Master of Hardcore, demonstrates the capacities of this artist. Here, he plays with noise and industrial sounds to create tracks that are totally dancefloor !2006 Radium signs his 3rd solo LP, « Terminal Trauma », where he steps it down a notch to tracks which are more mid-tempo. “Terminal Trauma” features two additional DJs who vocals : Lenny Dee, a living myth on the international Electro scene, on the track « Free Party Animal », and the up-and-coming Daisy on the track “Trust or Die”.
