Alva Noto & Ryuichi Sakamoto a Bologna,
protagonisti del concerto inaugurale di roBOt05
Dopo 5 edizioni, saranno Alva Noto & Ryuichi Sakamoto a rinnovare l’incantesimo del concerto inaugurale al Teatro Comunale di Bologna, il grande evento che anticipa il roBOt festival (dal 10 al 13 ottobre 2012 a Palazzo Re Enzo). Il concerto è realizzato in collaborazione con la Red Bull Music Academy.
La data della tradizionale preview è finalmente ufficiale: giovedì 27 settembre e questa volta vede protagonista il duo internazionale applaudito in tutto il mondo, esibirsi sul palco del santuario bolognese della musica colta.
Sakamoto, per la prima volta a Bologna, è conosciuto al grande pubblico per il Premio Oscar ottenuto con la colonna sonora de “L’ultimo imperatore” ed è considerato il Maestro delle contaminazioni tra la musica tradizionale d’oriente e avanguardie elettroniche occidentali. Alva Noto è uno sperimentatore infaticabile, pioniere della visual art, famoso per aver abbinato ai suoi brani rappresentazioni visive, anticipando di 20 anni quello che oggi chiamiamo audio-video performance.
Pur avendo percorsi molto diversi, i due musicisti sono ben allineati e compongono un duo quasi telepatico, punta di diamante della musica contemporanea.
La serata di preview al roBOt festival, giovedì 27 settembre, sarà l’occasione per scoprire uno dei luoghi più suggestivi della città – il Teatro Comunale – e visitare la sua splendida terrazza, aperta in via del tutto straordinaria. Qui, a partire dalle 19.30, poco prima di spostarsi nel teatro per assistere al concerto, verrà offerto un aperitivo “ad alta quota” e solo su invito, realizzato in collaborazione con Red Bull, Jägermeister e Forst; “speciale” perchè sarà accompagnato dai beat di Painè, artista della scuderia Red Bull Music Academy e membro del roster di Fuoriclasse, progetto itinerante di Red Bull che porta gli artisti italiani dell’Academy nei migliori party dello stivale…

E’ previsto un after party a La Scuderia (Piazza Verdi 2) con una line up fantastica:

Stars of the inaugural performance of roBOt05
After 5 years, Alva Noto & Ryuichi Sakamoto will be those who renew the spell of the opening concert at the Teatro Comunale of Bologna, the great event which anticipates the roBOt festival (10 to 13 October 2012 at Palazzo Re Enzo). The concert is organized in collaboration with the Red Bull Music Academy.
The date of the traditional preview is finally official: Thursday, September 27th and this time starring the international duo acclaimed in every part of the world, performing on stage at the Bolognese sanctuary of cultured music.
Sakamoto, for the first time in Bologna, is known to audiences for his Oscar for the soundtrack of “The Last Emperor” and is considered the master of contamination between the traditional Eastern music and Western avant-garde electronics. Alva Noto is a tireless researcher, a pioneer of visual art, famous for his songs combined with visual representations, 20 years ahead of what today we call audio-video performance.
Despite having different paths, the two musicians are well aligned and form a duo almost telepathic, spearhead of contemporary music.
The preview evening of the roBOt festival, Thursday, September 27, will be an opportunity to experience one of the nicest spots in the city – the Theatre – and visit its beautiful terrace, open in a totally unique way. Here, starting at 19.30, shortly before moving into the theater for the concert, there will be an “high altitude” aperitif on invitation, made in collaboration with Red Bull, Jägermeister and Forst. A special apertif because Painè, Red Bull music academy artist and member of the tour “Fuoriclasse”, a project made by Red Bull Music Academy which brings italian producers from the Academy into the best italian parties, will be on the decks for a gourgeous dj set..
