Nonostante l’ annullamento del Concerto Sabato scorso a causa della “Compagnia” Aerea, siamo stati in grado di rimetterlo in programma subito, grazie alla preziosa collaborazione e disponibilità del Comune di Parma e la gentile disponibilità degli Artisti! Vi aspettiamo numerosi…Non perdetelo..!!!!! Chiesa di San Vitale, Via Repubblica n.3 a Parma, due passi letteralmente da Piazza Garibaldi!!! “””OMAGGIO ALLA GRECIA”””!!!

Cari Soci e Amici della Comunità Ellenica di Parma e Reggio Emilia,
come già conoscete, la nostra Comunità è una Associazione Culturale senza scopo di lucro, molto attiva nel territorio parmense e non solo, che la contraddistinguono le numerosissime attività culturali e le importantissime azioni di solidarietà in diverse realtà greche, sopratutto gli ultimi 8 anni, che il nostro paese sta attraversando un periodo veramente critico e difficile. Basta dare un occhiata al nostro sito o su Facebook per constatare la ricca attività, fatta grazie al grandissimo sacrificio e allo spirito volontario dei Consigli Direttivi e di diversi dei nostri associati.
Il 24 Febbraio 2017 la nostra Associazione compie 20 anni dalla sua istituzione ufficiale e per festeggiare questa ricorrenza, il nostro Consiglio Direttivo ha deciso di proporre e di organizzare, da adesso e il prossimo periodo, insieme al Comune di Parma, nei limiti delle nostre possibilità, alcuni eventi culturali rendendo omaggio alla culla della civiltà della cultura e delle tradizioni popolari che si chiama Grecia.
In occasione allora del 20o Anniversario della nostra Associazione 1997 – 2017 e della 2a Giornata Mondiale della Cultura e della Lingua Greca (9 Febbraio), ma anche in concomitanza del Gemellaggio tra i Comuni di Parma e Corfù, abbiamo optato per organizzare per primo un Concerto Musicale Omaggio alla Grecia, arricchendo cosi ancora di più la ricca attività culturale del territorio parmense e reggiano, dove che viviamo.
Concerto Musicale che vuole rendere onore e omaggiare il mondo musicale greco, da Mikis Theodorakis e Manos Chatzidakis e la musica classica greca, fino alla musica Tradizionale e strumentale.
Grazie anche al Patrocinio e il contributo del Comune di Parma, abbiamo il piacere e l’ onore, il sottoscritto in particolare, di presentare nella nostra città e fare esibire il Grande Maestro delle “100 e 200 Chitarre” “Evangelos Boudounis” insieme ai bravissimi e famosi, “Maro Razì” e gli “String Demons” con “Lydia Boudouni” e “Konstantinos Boudounis”, due chitarre classiche, violino e violoncello.
Tutto questo prenderà corpo presso la splendida cornice della Chiesa di San Vitale, in Via Repubblica, n.3 a Parma, Sabato 4 Marzo 2017 alle 17.30, ingresso a offerta libera!!! Eventuali fondi saranno destinati in solidarietà come sempre abbiamo fatto in questi anni basta dare un occhiata al nostro sito per vedere foto e documentazioni delle nostre azioni.
La presentazione dei musicisti e le parole in particolare per Vagelis Boudounis non saranno mai abbastanza! Basta vederlo qua sotto nelle foto con i due colossi Mikis e Manos e basta dare un occhiata e leggere il suo CV e di tutti gli artisti in allegato, sia in inglese che in greco. Evangelos Boudounis was born in Athens, has studied guitar in National Conservatoire of Athens under scholarship and graduated from Dimitris Famba’s class with an “exceptional performance” award. Among his teachers were Hose Tomas, Alexander Lagoya and Alirio Diaz. Furthermore, he had the opportunity to meet Andres Segovia and to continue his guitar studies under the guidance of the grand master in Granada and in Madrid. But it wasn’t till 1975 that Evangelos Boudounis met not only his greatest teacher but also a dear friend, Manos Hadjidakis. He has been awarded first prizes in numerous guitar contests all over the world such as the “Andres Segovia” contest of Santiago de Compostella Academy (Spain), the National guitar contest of Vivaldi Academy (Milan, Italy), the Viotti National contest of Vercelli winning the “Mario Castelnuovo Tedesco” prize. His concerting and reciting activities include appearances in most European countries -France, Spain, Italy, Sweden, Germany, Denmark, Holland, Hungary, Yugoslavia, Czechoslovakia, Turkey, Cyprus, in former USSR as well as in Canada and in the USA. 1988 was the beginning of the Maro Razi – Evangelos Boudounis guitar duet. Till now, they have appeared in numerous festivals (Athens, Patras, Constantinople etc.), they have appeared as soloists with Camerata-orchestra of music-friends, Colour Orchestra and Patras Orchestra (among others). Maro Razi and Evangelos Boudounis have recorded 9 CDs together. The first, which was released by the recording label “Sirios” and was entitled “Recital for Two”, contained works by Sor, Granados, Piazzolla and de Falla. The second CD, released by “LYRA” was called “LET IT BEatles” and contained a suite of the same name by Evangelos Boudounis, based on the most popular songs of the unforgettable band. “LYRA” also released “A Song for Manos”, 2 CDs containing the most important songs of Manos Hadjidakis from the theatre and the cinema arranged by Evangelos Boudounis. Also, the following recording labels have released CDs: EROS released “100 Guitars at the Herodion”, Legend released “Libertango”, “Evangelos Boudounis – Maro Razi” 100 Guitars – Historia de un Amor’, Irida released ‘Say it with a Guitar No. 2”, and “200 Guitars live at the Athens Concert Hall” was released by FM Records. Evangelos Boudounis has worked on perfecting the guitar’s sound quality and on improving the guitarist’s playing technique. He has written nine book series on the guitar technique which has been published by Papagrigoriou-Nakas editions. This series deals with important technical matters (scales, arpeggios, ligatures) as well as with more specialized technique-wise issues (Horizontal and vertical exercises, stretching, apoyado-tirado exercises and more. He was especially concerned with the position and movement of the left arm on the fret-board reconsidering many taboos that still exist in fingering. Transcriptions, fingerings and editing were made over a massive amount of guitar repertoire starting from the early classes to reach the late ones (Recital 1-10, Papagrigoriou-Nakas editions). In 1999 a guitar method for beginners was published -the “debut”as well as all of Bach’s lute works transcripted for the guitar (Papagrigoriou-Nakas editions). For years, he has been a composer thus enriching the guitar’s repertoire with works for one or two guitars while having composed three concert-style suites for two guitars and orchestra (LET IT BEatles, On the Rocks, A song for Manos) which have already been presented in Athens Music Hall (Megaron) and in Lycabetus with various orchestras (Camerata-music-friends Orchestra, Patras orchestra). Since 1996, he has been a member of the Greek Musician’s Union. Many important guitarists have graduated from his school and among them are some who have an international career. Since 1998 he has the responsibility of the Classical Guitar in the National Conservatoire of Athens. In 1984 he founded the “Guitarists”, a first appearing orchestra in Greece and one of the few existing in Europe which consists of graduated students. He currently conducts this orchestra. A combination of his artistic and teaching activities are the Guitar festivals of Rethymno (1984), Ioannina (1988) and Patras (1994) of which he has been inspirer and creator. He has also been the main teacher of the seminars curricular of these specific festivals.
